          The first meeting was at the start of the project and was held in Romania. This meeting was essential to ensure that all partners had a good understanding of the aims and objectives of the project, and to establish a baseline from which we were working. Partnership agreements were drawn up and every aspect of the plan was discussed and modified to ensure that it met everyone’s needs.

         We also clarified everyone’s roles and responsibilities in terms of planning, monitoring, and evaluation. Various proformas for planning mobilities and for certificates etc were agreed and shared.

          There also was an opportunity to view materials from the UNICEF website so that the wider context of the Rights/Responsibilities agenda could be clearly understood.

             All partners were provided with a comprehensive delegates pack in Romania. We worked through the pack during the meeting so that everyone was clear about their roles and responsibilities throughout the project.
